ReplyDeleteHey there, just saw a link to this and watched it a couple times in a row because it was so impressive.
ReplyDeleteJust wondering what programs you use to make something like this. I'm looking into studying animation and this sort of thing is really what I'm interested in.
I take it you guys are based in London. Where did you guys get training for animation? At this point I'm living in WA, Australia but I have potentially the opportunity to study in Sydney or England. Do you have any recommendations about good courses or schools in England or Australia?
Found your film via drawn.ca Well done! Absolutely beautiful work. I expect we'll be seeing this film more and more as word gets out.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for the kind words, now I'm looking forward to the next
ReplyDeleteNathan: Yeah, we are London based. We studied the character animation training program post grad diploma at central St martins. There are others, bournemouth has a really good course, so those Dundee (Scotland) Duncan of Jordanstone. You never said Anything about France but Gobelins school of art is deadly, as is superficom ( I think that's the spelling) hope that helps.
Congratulations, beyond amazing and beautiful work!! :D

ReplyDeleteZeitwolf: Soulful, thats quite a compliment. Makes me feel good that we created a film that can make someone feel that way
Ahbob: We used After Fx, Flash for the animation Maya for the ball which was then rotoscoped in flash. Photoshop, water colours, markers for the BG.
